StandUp4Cancer aims to fund collaborative, multidisciplinary, multi-institutional scientific cancer research teams and investigators. The organization’s goal is to advance new treatments, yet they recognized that only 3-5% of adults with cancer participate in clinical trials. To change this, StandUp4Cancer added robust clinical trial information to its website, in order to dispel myths, provide information and encourage diversity of clinical trial participants. We love the simple metaphors, highly-visual content and animation that the organization used to communicate complex information and ultimately influence the thinking of someone who may not have previously considered participating in a clinical trial. StandUp4Cancer took home the gold at MM&M awards for use of clinical development marketing.
